For many, life stopped on August 4th, 2020 at 6:07 pm. The unimaginable explosion which devastated Beirut on that day, had a severe impact on the lives of many and most specifically, on the lives of children.

To help those young children and their families who saw their dreams fading away, Lebanese elite mountaineer, Dr. Joyce Azzam, in collaboration with the Lebanese Ice Hockey Federation (LIHF), will be climbing all Seven summits of Lebanon (higher than 3000 m), in one single day on Sunday Oct 4th 2020, a great challenge to fundraise for himaya NGO.

Since 2018, Dr. Azzam used her voice for children who are silenced by abuse and carried their dreams on a flag to the highest summit in the world (as part of the Dream project to Add link here)

Today, Joyce continues her mission as a Child Protection Advocate with the support of the LIHF athletes from around the world to crowd fund for himaya NGO so they can continue giving the care and psychological support to our children in Beirut.
