From its inception in 2017 until today, the Dreams Project has Dr. Azzam continually meeting with students throughout the world including Lebanon, Canada, USA, UAE, India and Nepal. These meetings provide the avenue to share her experience and her origination story with children and young adults from a variety of cultures to help convey the importance of dreaming and dreaming big. Part of the process is in having the young people draw their dreams with a simple strategy of how to make them a reality. Dr. Azzam uses her own story to prove that anyone from any background can achieve the biggest goals in the world today.
Between 2018 & 2021, Joyce volunteered with Himaya NGO as a child protection advocate. In 2019, Joyce carried Himaya’s flag and taking children’s dreams all the way to the top of Everest!
